Nationwide Plant-Based Challenge Sweeps Scottish Parliament

In response to the overwhelming evidence of how animal agriculture impacts the health of the planet—in a surprising move—Scottish Parliament will support "Plate Up for the Planet." In a joint effort with The Vegan Society, Green Scotland Green Party member, Mark Ruskell forwarded a motion to make it all come together. "The 'Plate Up for the Planet' campaign aims to get veganism on the political agenda, especially when it comes to tackling climate change," said Louise Davies, head of Campaigns and Policy for The Vegan Society. With early support from Scottish Parliament Member thus far, it's looking to be a great step forward.
