It's happening again, this time with the iconic whipped cream company, Reddi-Wip. From Beef Cattle Ranch to Vegan Owned and Operated Animal Sanctuary

Cattle ranchers Tray and Jen Federici spent years running their small but successful ranch out of Larkspur, Colorado—raising and selling cattle for slaughter. Despite always feeling connected to animals, the couple didn't have their wake-up call until last winter when they struggled to follow through on killing one from their own herd, for themselves that year. They'd also only ever eat meat from animals they killed themselves. "We officially had our last ham Christmas 2016...we never looked back after that. We swore off all meat as well as all animal products. Needless to say, we have never felt better or more healthy, both mentally and physically," said Jen. Officially becoming a 501(c)3 nonprofit earlier this year, the Jen and Tray now provide a safe haven to a variety of animals including zebras, pigs, longhorn cows, chickens, goats, and more. Jen continued, "We choose to go forward in our lives not as consumers of animals but as ambassadors for them."
