Like, as thin as you can get it. So when you fry it, it crisps up a little on the edges. You'll thank me later. Don't be afraid to sub out or in some veggies, and add BBQ sauce. Mix and match with this thing and enjoy!"

Vegan powerlifter Patrik Baboumian of Germany, who was declared Germany's strongest man in 2011, continues to show the world that you don't need animal products to be strong. Recently at the Vegetarian Food Festival in Toronto, he carried 1212 pounds nearly 33 feet. According to organizers, it's the heaviest load ever carried.

A new study funded by the National Cancer Institute reports that vegans have lower rates of cancer than both meat-eaters and vegetarians (those who still consume eggs and dairy).

The results were especially powerful for vegan women who were found to have a 34 percent lower rate of female-specific cancers (breast, cervical, and ovarian). While vegan men show a significant reduction in risk of prostate cancer and prostate enlargement.
